This carrier allows the use of Cowboy .45 Special (or .44 Russian) ammo in appropriate (.45 Colt or .44 Special) rifles. Designed by Adirondack Jack and engineered by Happy Trails, The Cowboy Carrier includes an innovative pivoting, positive action cartridge stop that is a so slick in action, you won't know it's there. We have a version for the '66 and '73 rifles, as well as a '60 Henry version.
'66 owners take note. No more broken ladles with this design, as the cartridges don't slam into the ladle, but rather, come to rest against a positive stop as shown above.
